Facebook has announced that in the coming months it plans to launch a service Live Audio Rooms — an analogue of the social network for voice communication Clubhouse.

“Audio easily fits into our busy lives, allows us to be inspired by new ideas and connect with like-minded people without pressure. You can share your personal story or join the global conversation any way, anytime, anywhere,” the post says.

It is noted that the new service Live Audio Rooms will first be tested in groups, it will be available for 1.8 billion users and tens of millions of active groups.

And in the summer, audio rooms from Facebook will be available to all users.

In the future, the company plans Live Audio Rooms to work in the messenger.

Facebook added that in the next few months, will begin testing the function of Soundbites, with which you can create short video clips.

It also expects to launch podcasts within a few months.

At the same time, with the launch of Live Audio Rooms and Soundbites, the company plans to allow audio content producers to make money.
