A pre-market for Hamster Kombat has appeared on Gate.io, and I want to explain what it is and why it’s better to steer clear.

What is a pre-market? How does it work?

We will definitely receive some amount of tokens (players), but how many is still unknown. And that’s the problem. There’s confidential information for investors that 100 million tokens have been allocated for an airdrop, but since this information hasn’t been officially published, it could be adjusted.
Moreover, I don’t know how many tokens I’ll personally receive or how many you will get. By entering into a pre-market deal, you take on obligations that you must fulfill after the airdrop and listing.
For example: You’re selling 3000 Hamster tokens on the pre-market for $1000 right now. You’ll be asked to provide collateral for this. Immediately after the drop, you’ll need to transfer your tokens to the exchange and hand them over to the buyer, fulfilling the deal.
What if you receive fewer tokens?
You’ll have to buy them with your own money to close the deal. Or you’ll simply lose your collateral.
We don’t know how much Hamster tokens will cost, how many we’ll receive, or how many will be on the market in total. Therefore, participating in the pre-market is like playing roulette with a high probability of losing your money. I don’t recommend getting involved.
