Intel reports that one of its future processors will run at 6 GHz without overclocking from the start. Representatives of the company announced this at the Technology Tour 2022 presentation.

It will be the thirteenth generation of Intel processors called Raptor Lake. It has not been announced yet.

In order to reach a frequency of 8 GHz, will require liquid nitrogen and special conditions.

It is worth clarifying that to date 6 GHz is a very powerful figure. Now the main and most powerful processor from AMD — Ryzen 7000 — has 5.7 GHz starting frequency. As for the date of the potential announcement, it is not known yet.
