After announcing four laptops, Samsung has introduced another affordable variant with Windows 10 and an ARM processor called the Galaxy Book Go.

Galaxy Book Go

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go is powered by an 8nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c chip and an ARM version of Windows 10.

The laptop doesn’t get a cooling fan, has a 14-inch LCD IPS screen with 1920x1080 pixels resolution, built-in LTE, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD.

The screen is not a touchscreen, and the case is pretty standard to keep costs down.

However, Samsung says the Galaxy Book Go meets the Mil-810G durability standard, which means the laptop can withstand a 1.2-meter drop and is dustproof. The device weighs 1.39 kg.

In addition, the Galaxy Book Go has two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a headphone jack, a MicroSD slot and a SIM card slot.

ARM-based processors are usually very energy efficient, so the 42.3Wh battery should provide plenty of battery life.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Go has already launched in Germany for €449 and in the US for a lower price of $349, but without LTE.
