The company Bespoken conducted an independent study in which it compared the functionality of voice assistants from Apple, Google and Amazon.

The forces of the rivals were unequal — the winner was ahead of the solutions of other brands with a significant margin.

For the tests, the experts used a test robot that simulates human speech to evaluate the behavior of the assistants. The requests were divided into complex and simple.

Many of them were worded in such a way as to confuse the digital assistants because there was no correct answer.

For example, one of them sounded as follows: Name the first man who landed on Mars.

At the end of the test, Google Assistant took first place, correctly answering 76.57% of the simple and 70.18% of the complex questions more accurately than its competitors.

Amazon Alexa results were more modest: 56.28% and 55.05% respectively.

Apple’s Siri voice assistant did the worst with 47.29% and 41.32%.

“Google Assistant outperformed Alexa and Siri in all tests. That said, all three apps could be greatly improved by developers and require more testing and optimization,” said Bespoken spokesperson Emerson Sklar.

Summing up, the experts also noted an interesting fact: it turned out that Google Assistant is much better at answering questions about Siri than Apple’s algorithm about its main competitor — Google Assistant.
