In China, there are signs that Xiaomi will soon “raise the stakes in the market of accessories”. The corresponding prediction was voiced by journalists of Gizmochina after the appearance in the public domain documentation about the development of a device for charging smartphones with sound.

The device will have some mechanism for transforming sound energy into electrical energy with an intermediate stage in the form of vibration. The resulting electricity will be used to charge smartphones and other portable devices without the need for an outlet.

Experts who have read the photos believe that it could take years to bring the idea to the mass production stage. They declared “the main challenge for the developers” — to bring the “sound component” to mind.

- WE EXPECT FURTHER DECISIVE STEPS FROM THE CHINESE COMPANY, WHICH SEEKS TO OPEN NEW HORIZONS IN SOLUTIONS FOR CHARGING SMARTPHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES,” SAY THE ANALYSTS INTERVIEWED BY THE PUBLICATION.

Recall that in 2019, Xiaomi technicians surprised the world with a fast 100-watt charger capable of filling a 4000 mA*h battery from 0 to 100% in just 17 minutes.
